Hi everyone..

Today I would have the greatest opportunity to introduce you my University buddy, his name is Simon.

Simon has created his blog, mainly focused on the Rap Vocalists Photographers. I found on his blog some really good examples about their work, as well as some informations about rappers they photographed. 

In music industry is very important to look and to be well presented and work of the photographer is as important to catch the right moment to make a snap as well as videographer who is recording wedding video. So today I want to ask Simon, what was his approach to create a blog about these photographers. 

Simon, I can see your blog and I keep asking myself what is your progression route? I see you are so much into vocalists photographers and I want to know a bit more about this idea. Would you tell us something about it?

Simon:   Hi, thanks for introducing my work. Well, my blog is still in a progress. I am trying my best to improve it and make more clearer. I have not thought much deeper about my progression route just yet. It is quite hard to specify. I am interested about photography, I do photos for my purposes but I am amazed of somebody else work the most. Especially thw work of professional photographers of Rap musicians as they are the one who capture their personal work and life. 

Do you  think you would be able to do it??

Experience wise, not really. I mean, I just literally started to play with camera, mostly I photograph by my mobile so far. I do like to take my friends out and about to take some really (sometimes) decent shots. I don't have a doubts that it gives a lot of fun. Don't get me wrong, I am in love with taking a pictures, but it definitely takes ages to do good quality pictures. You must have some experience to photograph someone famous. It is like advertisement itself if you think about it. I wish I could have a chance to be kind of person, I mean photographer just for one day to check how it would work for me (laugh)

Let's say your dream came true, you became professional camera man. Who is in front of your lens, who would you like to see there??

Woah! The person I could think of at the moment is Drake. I think he is quite interesting character in a music industry. Some of the guys would maybe not get his songs as he is sort of the guy who likes to make fun of some of the people in his songs. Using sometimes very strong language, insulting, etc. I do not necessarily think of it. I am trying to focus on his style of the music in the first place, in my opinion that is the most important thing. I actually do like to hear his music in my AirPods, especially in the gym. Helps me to focus on heavy lifting, haha. 

Do you plan to create your own place of work you do??

I have already done so. I have created my website, I got uploaded some pictures, the website contains few of my works I have done with my friends. Recently I went to London and have managed to take some good shots and to have some fun at least. We are having a crazy term right now. This Corona business made our life harder for now. These restrictions not allowing us to make any bigger arrangements but in the future I will think of something bigger. At the moment in my University we have got so many projects to get on with, so I would say this is good opportunity for me and for my colleagues to practice these things a little. I have been researching some stuff on YouTube as well, I have been watching some tutorials in regards of taking a professional pictures, set up cameras, using light, etc. 

Great! So good to hear you have created something based on your own experience. I will have to you the very last question right know. What is your plan to do after University? 

Right now my plan is to complete this year with no stress, haha. I hope I will go trough it and complete all the tasks as required by our lecturers. This is a Roller Coster right now, we have had a really funny term. Now I feel a Christmas spirit so I am trying to not think about it now, I got my break now. (laugh)

Let's put it in this way, the main approach after University would be to kick in with photography, mainly. It all depends from many perspectives. I had some plans toward this goal to take photos of indoors and advertise myself in this way. Let the time do it's thing. Eventually we will find out what is it gonna be.
